A little handmade fun

For Christmas I made my nieces - the three art queens - art smocks from my apron book. So. much. fun. I hope they have fun with them.

Last weekend Randy made a cake for Aunt Janell's birthday. A very chocolatey cake with a truffle filling, topped with ganache. Yum. I decorated it with white chocolate flowers, butterflies, and j's. It was fun, and while quite amateur, I'd like to take a cake decorating class. Anyone want to join me?

It looks great and I know it tasted good. Randy is such a great baker! I would recommend the cake class - I had fun! If I lived closer, I'd join the class with you!
